I mainly knew the Merge label from other bands (The Arcade Fire, Dinosaur Jr., Austin's ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead and Spoon, etc.). Besides Superchunk and Robert "Guided by Voices" Pollard (who I didn't know is now with Merge), this showcase included some solid artists with whom I wasn't all that familiar:
